a poster with the words artist in residence open call

Boomer Gallery is pleased to announce “Artist In Residence”, a program of twelve consecutive exhibitions exclusive to the artists who have exhibited with us in the past.

The newly opened program “Artist In Residence” is meant to connect the emerging artists with a wider and international audience and also to build a permanent trust between the artists and the established community.

Having your works permanently exhibited in an art gallery will give you more credibility in the larger art scene.

Often times an art collector is more interested about the artist’s consistency then the work itself and for good reasons.

When a collector chooses to invest in a piece of work, the first question that comes in his mind is “Will the artist continue to work on this level, will it be consistent”?

As mentioned previously this opportunity is exclusive to the artists who have exhibited with us before.

We much appreciate those who have been close to our organisation and we want to reward their commitment and their trust and also to make their artistic journey much easier.

We usually charge £165 per show so in a year that would come up as £1980 but the artists who have previously exhibited with us will get a 50% discount on this package bringing the total price per year to £990 or £82.5 per exhibition.

How does it work?

The primary purpose is to connect the emerging artists with a wider audience and to build a permanent trust between them and the established community.
